Founded in 2001, SELF is a diverse coalition of community organizations and public agencies working to improve outcomes for Clark County's youngest children. The coalition was launched following a 400-person Every Moment Counts community forum. SELF believes that all Clark County children should be safe, healthy, eager to learn and ready to succeed by the time they enter school.

PUBLIC OUTREACH and RESOURCES
SELF public awareness programs promote investment in our youngest children. SELF is the pivotal source for resources and information regarding early learning for parents, child care providers, educators and the community. A speakers' bureau conducts outreach to the business and faith communities, parent groups, and service organizations.
SELF actively works to expand the resources needed to maintain and replicate neighborhood-based early learning services. There is a role for everyone -- individuals, groups, businesses -- in support of our youngest children.
